2010 Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain Award
Finalists and Winners Announced

Irvine, California - November 22, 2010 - Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA), headquartered in Irvine, California, has announced finalists and winners of the prestigious 2010 Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain Awards at the 4th Awards Gala on November 18, 2010 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas & Spa in Indian Wells, California. SEA is a 7-year-old aerospace & defense non-profit alliance founded by prime and tier-one companies and led by sub-tier suppliers committed to accelerating supply chain performance. SEA customers enjoy increasing performance, reduced risk, and best value. SEA provides a platform for supplier visibility, performance improvement and collaboration. The 4th Annual Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain Awards recognized the performance and leadership contributions of small- to midsized supplier companies. Awards were announced at a black-tie gala attended by award finalists and hundreds aerospace and defense companies. Looking very much like an Academy Awards ceremony, award presentations followed a reception and gala dinner and executives from both supplier companies and prime and tier-one contractors served as presenters for seven award categories.

Award winners by category are:

• In the Stephen E. Barton Leadership & Culture Award category, the award went to MPC Industries, Irvine, California.
  


• In the Workforce Development Award category, the award went to Schrillo Company LLC, North Hills, California.


• In the Operational Excellence Award category, the award went to SMS Technologies, Inc., San Diego, California

• In the Supply Chain Innovation Award category, the award went to Hixson Metal Finishing, Newport Beach, California.
  
  
• In the Performance Award: Most Improved Supplier category, the award went to
  TSI Plastics, Inc, Minneapolis, Minnesota.


• In the Customer of the Year Award category, the award went to ITT Force Protection Systems, , Thousand Oaks, California.


• The prestigious Richard Hall Award for Leadership Excellence went to Doug C. Greene, President, Hixson Metal Finishing, Newport Beach, California and John Yerger, President
  and COO, SMS Technologies, Inc., San Diego, California.
